Laptop stopped powering on. Apple Genius Bar checked out unit - reset SMC, removed battery - no luck - suggested sending to ‘depot’ for repair - $280 fee. Any ideas? If not, is there a way to retrieve photos from hard drive of laptop? Genius at the Bar suggested we could get them off with a ‘hard drive enclosure’?
