Cleaned out this console and applied new thermal paste, but is still overheating and shutting off.
Make sure that the clamp is not installed upside down with the two screws and does it turn off very quickly right after turning it on? Also if the washer trick was used for a blue light of death fault that will cause the issue too if the washes are too thick.
