I have a newer tractor with a blown 17.5 hp engine with a great chassis, deck and tires. I also have an older tractor with 18hp twin engine that runs great. Can easily swap the engines? Does the new hood accomodate the different engine? Are the deck, belts etc interchangable? I have picks if needed.
@tagliaboo that is something only you will know for sure. Since you have all the parts to do the swap, measure the parts you want to change and try it out. There may be some fabrication involved but should not be an issue if you are handy with tools.
