Hello, I have a faulty switch from a freind and wanted to try to repair it. Friend said that the switch broke down on a really hot day (dont know if it was exposed to sunlight). There was a messag on the screen that said the device would turn off in 10..9…8… seconds. Since then it never turned back on. I opened the case and looked at the motherboard. It was clean and didnt have any water damage. I then plugged it in and saw that it is charging with 0.41A and 5.11V. Afaik that is slow charging. But nothing happens when I press the power button. No screen on, no backlight nothing. I checked the some capacitors and found some on the back side, directly unter the main chip, that are shorted. I dont know if they need to be shorted or maybe because the main chip has some issues that led to the shorted caps. Hopefully someone has any tips to how proceed further.. :)
Do hard rest hold down power and volume at the same time until it turns on for me it took 5 seconds but it can take longer. If it still does not turn on send it for a repair
