Is there a guide or easy way to swap the guts between two MacBooks without taking each component out, from a Late 2013 to a Mid 2014 15 inch? I want to keep the display and battery from the older 8 GB 2013 MacBook Pro, and swap it with the 16 GB 2014 MacBook Pro.

It is not the Series group thats the MacBookPro10,1, MacBookPro11,2, MacBookPro11,3, MacBookPro11,4and MacBookPro11,5 So in your case you are trying to fit the parts from either a MacBookPro11,2 (IG) or ‘‘‘MacBookPro11,3 (DG) into a MacBookPro11,2 (IG) or ‘‘‘MacBookPro11,3 (DG) If you are sticking between two IG or two DG systems then you won’t have any issues. If you are trying cross between IG and DG systems there are some issues.
