i got an older toshiba laptop. it is a satellite pro l70-a-13z. sadly there is a supervisor password set wich i do not know. without this password i can change nearly nothing in biossettings. i made it work so it would be a shame to throw away a working laptop because of this stupid password. i need to know where i can find the reset jumper on the motherbord. taking out the bios battery does not help. i need this jumper and i can not find it.
Their’s a good article from Tomsguide that talks about finding the reset jumper. But to sum it up you’re looking for an area labeled JCMOS. Bridge the contacts shown, and that should reset the device.
