I have taken apart my PS4 to see if it was real dusty inside and see if there was something preventing air from circulating in it. I couldn’t see anything The fan gets super loud whenever I load up a game and it gets in a graphics intensive area. (MLB the show, when you’re at the stadiums).
I didn’t take off the heat sink.. that’s my only other assumption? Maybe the thermal compound is going bad on the system and it’s getting too hot? (The shell doesn’t really feel very hot though)
Mine’s beginning to do this too. I think it may just be that it is a base PS4 running newer and newer games that are becoming close to next-gen.
