TaoTao Thunder 50cc runs fine until it hits 30 mph then it feels likes sumthin is pulling it back from goin faster!!! Anyone got any help?? Thanks
dadandnmd, you posted your question as an answer to a FA-50 question. I changed it since it obviously is not an answer. Anyhow, the FA50 has a high speed of 27-30mph. So your 30mph is correct. There is nothing holding it back other than the stock performance of the engine. A correctly adjusted carburetor and muffler cleaning are the two most important factors in reaching the stock speeds. It’s a moped not a racing bike. Hope this helps, good luck.
