My Macbook Pro Retina 13" bought in July 2015 suddenly shows ’no battery available’ even though it was working absolutely fine just the day before. Its just a two year old machine…Is it possible for the battery to die overnight???
It could be the case of a dead battery but usually the batteries dont die from a day to another. Try and do an SMC reset first of all, if that does not work try to disconnect and reconnect the battery here you have a guide on how to do it (follow from start to Step 6). If this does not work you can buy a battery from iFixit and replace the old one
