I scratch my sub board trying to replace the lcd screen and digitize when removed the battery it cost fire for bout 2 seconds. i replace the battery. i notices my sub board look like it was scratch deeply. my power button look ok but i can’t get it to turn on. the logo screen come on and showing the battery charging. could it be that i damages the sub board flex cable? please can someone help me i really love my alcatel one touch idol 3 thanks so much. There is a high likelyhood that, if you get a consistant charging symbol on your phone, there is a short on the subPCB. This could be caused by your gash, or something else. However, it is rare that it causes the device to not turn on at all. There is perhaps a chance the battery you got, doesnt have the proper level of voltage to be recognized as a battery. try boosting it externally if you can.
