I was replacing the entire screen and went to the iFixit video as a guide. The video did not show the battery disconnection step, they go directly to the screen disassembly. Being that I was following the video, I did not disconnect the battery, and now it does not boot. The phone is stuck with the white logo. Any suggestions?
It’s seems you have fried one of the major components of the logic board. This requires a board level repair and unless you are a specialist, you will need to have quite a pricy repair done. It may be worth it to simply get a new phone altogether.
