Home button not working. stuck on white screen saying press home to upgrade. tried restarting and plugging into computer. help?
Try a hard reset first of all, on iPhone 7 long press on power and volume down for a few seconds, the phone will shutdown and restart, once you see the Apple logo release all.
Long press the top power button to slide to power off. Then turn on. It should prompt you to choose language if you have done a restore. Then you can activate device and turn on assistive touch for home button function.
Press and hold Power button and Volume down and it will go into recovery mode. Then connect to i tunes.
i have a solution. when iTunes finish updating your software, it will prompt you to keep the phone plugged with USB, but you have to unplugg it and turn your iphone on again and than connect it to itunes and manage as a new iPhone.
