I am stuck on this screen. I have tried four different cables, went out and bought a new one, three different controllers, tried the reset button, clearing the cache, but it will not connect. The USB port works because it charges my phone when I plug it in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you read my posts I had some major issues with the connect controller screen. Turned out to just be the cord. I had about 6 laying around and only 1 worked.

Your PS4 is requesting a DATA cable, not a charging cable. The difference being, a charging cable is very slow when used for the transfer of data. A Data cable is much faster in terms of mbp/s transfer. The best solution is probably sitting somewhere in your house. For PS4 this would be any previous flagship device that used USB type 2, use the official cable that came with that, whether it be Sony Xperia, Samsung Galaxy Note/S/A or even M series, Google Nexus devices and so on. For PS5 you can use any Android USB C cable that came with the device. Or you can just order the correct cable. You can find Data cable in any tech or phone store. Hope this helps
I tried 7 cables, the last one worked, save time and just order the correct cable, search ps4 controller charger cable, you’ll save yourself a lot of time and hassle!
