“My Canon MG 3500 series printer keeps giving me the message that the ink cartridge door is open and it won’t print. I’ve tried opening and closing it many times, as well as turning on and off the printer. I even tried unplugging it and moving the ink cartridges around a bit. No luck! This is quite a new printer and I hate to put it into electronic waste already. Any suggestions out there?”
Hi @canuckmom18 , How “new” is “new”? There is a 12 months manufacturer’s warranty on the printer. If the warranty period is still valid for the printer, (check the sales receipt) then follow the directions in the manufacturer’s warranty statement as to what to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.
