I replaced the screen on a iPhone 8 plus and ever since it has been stuck in boot loop apple logo screen. Ive connected to itunes and only got to connecting to apple screen before it pops up an error message when I try to restore the phone. I’ve tried doing it more than once. I don’t know what to do next. Please help?
You should first check that the battery, display and front camera assembly connectors are seated properly. If it still boot-loops try disconnecting the front camera flex connector and see if it boots. If this also fails disconnect the home button connector and try. All these connectors are on the logic board and it is likely one of these is the culprit. If it is the front camera assembly you will need to replace it. If it is the home button you will need to replace the screen again. There are also two small components near the battery connector that if disturbed could cause your problem. But let’s hope it is not that.
