I’m trying to do a battery and screen replacement on my 7, but when i went ahead and undo the 6 screws holding the shield plate on the screen, i’d accidentally stripped one of them. I have no idea how to get it now since it’s severely stripped now and i used super glue and the rubber band method to remove them. What can i do? Is there a cheap or easy method i can do to remove this little guy out? i can’t progress on my repair if i don’t get this removed. Can anyone here help me?
Some parts suppliers sell the screens with a metal shield already attached. If not you can use one laying around from a donor device or heck you should be able to order a replacement shield.
