My iphone has a 84% capacity currently and my MBP Early 2013 has a “Replace Soon” indicator, which means that the repairment is not urgent, but eventually it will be necessary. I am able to afford the replacement kits at the time, but I might not be able in the near future. My question is, will the replacement batteries suffer any damage if I let them sit for a while until the replacement is necessary?
They should not suffer any damage if left for a short amount of time. I would put the battery in about 2 weeks of receiving the kit if I were you.
