55SL417U stopped working after a short power outage. It does absolutely nothing, no blinking light or even a click. I took the back off and noticed there are 3 boards. Could It be one of these that need replaced? Please help.
donzi9769 yes you can. As a matter of fact you may even have to, since this is a Toshiba. Toshiba is a company that does not care about anyone else fixing their equipment. Service manuals are almost impossible to come by and there is no support from Toshiba (one of the reasons I absolutely stay away from that despicable brand). First thing I’d check is the fuse on the power supply. See if you A. have continuity and B. power when you plug in your set.
That would be the fuse on the power board, also the first board I would replace if necessary
