Hi, I have Macbook Pro A1211 and A1260(<- This one was broken) On A1211 is a glossy LCD one and A1260 is matte one. I swap LCD from A1260 to A1211, it was a painful process but totally worth it. I notice that both screen stock color profile have yellow tint. I found out that selecting sRGB color profile makes a big difference, most yellow is gone (In my opinion) Video Example Is this thing normal?

I’ve looked at several of these computers, and some had a yellow tint to them. I’m pretty sure it’s just something that happens as they age, as Apple had some quality control problems with some screens from this era if I recall correctly. Mot much can be done except replace the screen with a non-yellowed one. I like to think of it as permanent night shift :)
