I spilled milk tea on my keyboard a few hours ago and did not search up on how to fix the issue, and I continued to use my mac as normal. Now a few hours later, the keys which i spilled the tea over (“[, ], ,’‘, delete=, -) are now getting this stickiness and cracker-like sounds when I press on them, but the input still registers. I do not have any ‘specialist’ supplies such as alcohol.

Do you have access to distilled water? Carefully lift the keycaps so you can get under the key to remove the scissor assembly and clean the area under it and the key parts. Use a slightly damp cotton swab to wipe the uppercase insides you don’t want the water to drip inside! A cup to hold the parts with the distilled water and if needed use a soft toothbrush to clean things. Use a towel to dry off the parts before putting the parts back.
