Sometimes when I go to play sound or use apps on my iphone 5 it just keeps making a static sound or it crackles. This issue is also happening when the phone rings. When I push the power button to wake it and make it go to sleep. I have read it could be LTE issue, But I don’t use lte and its not enabled. I have also read that it could be fixed by turning off phone noise cancelation didn’t work. I am sure its hardware but not sure what part.
If it is the phone hardware it would be the loudspeaker that is located and the bottom of the phone on top of the dock connector. You can find replacement parts on eBay and can follow the ifixit guide to fix it. Very simple repair! Thanks
