Hello guys, I want to kindly ask, if someone knows what’s going on, my mac pro 2017, when i don’t use it say for 12 hours, 10 hours, i turn it on (without the charger plugged in), it turns on correctly for few seconds, then i get a black screen, i try to open the mac again by clicking on power button, it gives me an indication that the it’s out of power, and i need to charge it, but it is charged at (100%), if i plug the charger for few seconds, it start regularly, it’s really bothering . do someone know how to solve such problem ? Thank you
Well, what I can tell you is you’’ve run through about a quarter of your batteries life span. So you might want to review your usage and how you charge your system. Running the battery down and then recharging is hard of Li-Ion batteries. It’s better to top them off as much as you can or use them plugged in to AC when you can. As far as your problem I’m thinking your hitting a thermal limit so the system goes into shutdown. I can’t explain why its different on battery vs powered. The only other possibility is one of the cells is failing but not enough for CoconutBattery to sense. Lets try this install this app to monitor the thermals TG Pro in your case you’ll want the full version as you’ll want the logging function so you can see when the system shuts down and when you restart it.
