Chosen Solution
When turning my kindle fire on, all it shows at first is the Kindle Fire logo. After about 10 seconds, it switches to a frozen/static like, black and white with a touch of scattered other colors screen that periodically shifts for about 20-30 seconds. After awhile of that it goes black before proceeds to loop the process all over again until I hold the power button to shut it down. Does anyone know what happened to it and if I can fix it myself?
My kindle fire HD 8.9" went to the static and then it went to the light shining across the kindle fire logo. After 1 minute it came back on. maybe try charging it a little. that seemed to work for me. I know your message is old and you probably already got a new one or something like that but if it ever happens again just read this.
