My small Massey Ferguson tractor has died. The battery is charged up, the electrical doesn’t appear to be damaged, the starter seems to be okay, I have removed and cleaned the ignition switch, but nothing causes the starter to turn over. Next step seems to be to replace the ignition switch. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks.
You can try to check the oil pressure.
Massey 1250 has numerous safety switches. Switch 70910 on right hand shift lever (##&&% to get at) likes to fail. Mine is currently bypassed waiting for a switch!
