I have a Stage Light Effect on the bottom of the Display Screen in others, word, Flexgate. Can I just replace the flex cable or do I have to replace the screen and which manual should I look at? Any info and/or tips would be greatly appreciated!!!
The older Unibody & retina MacBook Pro’s issue is a bit different from the newer 2016/17 retina model. Here the issue is often the logic board LVDS/iDG connecter and/or the cable connector having corrosion damage.
