My rMBP’s logic board died last year, and I replaced it a couple of days ago. The replacement experience was really easy, thanks to iFixit’s amazing guides. My device booted up normally, it was working great. I updated the OS to Catalina, and all was going well. About 20 minutes later, the OS froze and I force turned off the device. I then tried to turn it on again, and got stuck on the loading progress bar for a long time. I then turned it off and tried again, to no avail. Then I booted into a Kali live usb and wiped my ssd clean. After that I tried installing Catalina onto my SSD from Recovery Mode but the operation fails every time. I installed Catalina onto an external HDD and tried to fix my SSD from that but I keep getting errors. Please check the attached screenshots.

After I get the error in Disk Utility, the SSD is not recognized anymore and I have to reboot to get it to show up again. Can anyone help me diagnose what the problem is with this SSD?

At this point I would test the system with another SSD to see if the issue is the replacement logic board or the original SSD. What happened to your original logic board as that might be a clue on what the issue is here.
