does that failure indicate an issue with the SSD drive or something wrong with the logic board? The SSD was bought on ebay 512gb Apple part JPU512 Samsung SSD
I would check the drive using a better method. SSD’s are not like HDD’s! I would recommend you give Drive Genius 5 a try to be sure. Most likely the SSD or the connector has a problem. Let’s make sure the logic board SSD’s connector is not damaged look at the edge is the gap between the top and the bottom plastic shell the same?
Let’s also clean the SSD’s pins using a fresh (still soft) pink pencil eraser. Go with the grain of the pins to lightly clean them of any oxides then use a cotton swab with 85% or better isopropyl alcohol to wipe the surfaces. I also use a slightly damp cotton swab with some WD40 to protect the surface (a little goes a long way).
