Hello, I m a bit new here, My question: I having problems install reinstalling OS-X It worked fine till I restarted my laptop. The now I’m getting the question mark yea! When I open utilities and want to reinstall Mavericks OS-X. Than it’s asking to select the drive for install, but there is no longer a drive to see. When I open Disk Utilities, there is the BASE System OS-X, but I don’t see the SSD drive. So if I try to reinstall OS-X using a flash USB, it stops have way, giving a stop sign. How do i solve this? Suppose I have to reformat the drive, how do it manage this? The SSD should work fine, it did , but now it’s no longer in the list. Any answer for this problem is welcome! Thanks
If you cannot see the drive then you cannot format the drive. You should run diagnostics by holding down d during startup. Most likely you have a failed ssd and it will most likely need to be replaced.
