I’ll admit it - I split water on my Mac.. I was relieved to hear that the circuits survived but now my apps don’t work because my Mac can’t determine its location… is there any way of fixing this??????
At this point it sounds like your drive is corrupted! Before you go forward here I would recommend you make a backup on a fresh drive all of your work as well as any app installers for apps you didn’t get from the Apps Store as you may need to reformat the drive. At this point restart your system and then hold the Command R keys to enter into the recovery partition. From there you should be able to run Disk Utility to hopefully fix the broken links and any corruptions. Did that work? Reference: Mac startup key combinations
