I knocked a glass of water accidentally off of my desk above my Xbox. It wasn’t very much but it basically poured right into the fan. I left it to dry for about 8 hours and now it will turn on for a max of 30 second then power off. What should I do? Is there any fix for this?
Try leaving it to dry even longer. I would recommend taking it apart and setting the motherboard at an angle in a dry place. There may still be water on the motherboard under chips. Otherwise, the power supply might be dead now. If you take it apart and it looks like there’s heavy water damage on the motherboard, then that’s probably not an issue.
