My shake spilt in my bag and got into the bottom ports of my iPad. It’s sticky and hardened. How can i clear out the charging and speaker ports? Would Apple be able to help?
Apple won’t help you in this case, they will only suggest an OOW replacement. I would try a toothbrush and some IPA to clean out the grill. As for the charge port, you could try the same but you may have to pick at it (very gently) with a toothpick. Be very careful as there are some small metal pins inside the charge port and if your not careful, you can bend or break them. This would be come a more complex repair…
