Chosen Solution
I spilt coffee on my Macbook air from 2017 and it worked for a while afterwards. But now it does not start at all. When I plug in the charger the fan spins but nothing else happens (starting doesn’t work). I have cleaned the logic board with isopropyl alcohol but it still doesnt work. Any idea on how I should go about identifying the problem and fixing it? Is it even possible fixing it? EDIT: And if it is fixable will I have to re-solder some components or is cleaning it enough?
Hi Have you tried a ultrasonic cleaner with distilled water and electronics cleaning solution I know it can be expensive but there bound to be someone out there who would probably do it for you locally for a small fee The ultrasonic cleaner will clean underneath the really small BGA chips that the isopropyl alcohol won’t get to Hopefully this will help Any questions please ask Thanks:)
