Hello i have surface book 1703 I had spilled water on my keyboard. After 2 days later, i opened cover and cleaned . all the component had been dry when i opened . Although touch pad button and keyboard battery are not working, keyboard, usb port and touch pad gesture is working good. i dont understand what the issue. i want to change my battery. i scare If it doesn’t work. I find batteries on the web , but i couldnt find other components such as io board and battery connector. How can i find these. Thank you,
Buy a new keyboard? Seems the better option here? Update (03/08/2019) You are correct, after looking into this further I think a device swap through Microsoft is your only choice here
