hey yall, I’m having a dilemma… I’ve taken my mac apart, scrubbed it with a toothbrush and 99% isopropyl alcohol, but there’s still a residue everywhere on my logic board (and case). the milkshake seemed to combine with the dust on the inside of the mac, so hmph. I can scrape it off, if that counts. I can’t afford a £1000 ultrasonic cleaner, so any tips on how to get this removed?
You’ll need to use distilled water (soaking the parts that can be soaked), then rinse it with 85% or better isopropyl alcohol. The speakers, keyboard, trackpad & battery will need replacement if they got hit.
