Here it is how to solve it: Long press the power on button for at least 10 sec and then it will work. If it still continues disconnecting then plug the charger and turn it on and then disconnect the charger. If it still continues then an update from the company must be released to fix it. You cannot do anything else

Same with mine and friends of mine. Both UEs switch off in few seconds after power on. But both work fine if usb charger is plugged in. Guess something wrong with power controller or internal software. Battery is fully charged, and units are updated.

Hi @greenteaa , Does it turn off (power off) or does the music just stop playing and the power light (and BT light) are still on? (It should turn off after 15 minutes if no music is detected, not a few seconds with music) In any event as you have just bought it consult the manufacturer’s warranty statement that came with the speaker as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair, replacement or refund. Update (01/12/2018) Hi @greenteaa , As a last resort, if possible try pairing it with a different BT source (another phone perhaps) to eliminate the remote possibility that it is your phone (can’t see how but it doesn’t take long) and if it still fails then get the speaker replaced under warranty.

just replace it by warranty

Only happens when it is plugged in and charging ( playing ) and after the power had gotten low enough for the red light to flash. So possibly just needs more of a charge before playing.

if you have simcard with t-mobil it will only play for a few mins then turn off ,on pandora i have tablet with att simcard works great i have a samsong cell with t-mobil service it dont work well at all so checkwith another phone with different sim card good luck took me 28 hrs to get it right

I also have a wonderboom that I fully took apart to find a solution but the only way I can get it to work without turning off 5 sec after If it’s only plugged in and playing while charging

This happened to my speaker. Hold down the power button and the volume down button for a few seconds until it makes a sort of beeping sound. That should reset it, which fixed it for me

Have you guys checked on the UE app if the “auto sleep on battery” setting is on never?

So I had the same problem. I would turn the wonder boom on, start the music on my phone and walk away with my phone to sit probably 10 feet away or so. 30-45 seconds later it would turn off. So, I unplugged it from the charger, brought it over to the couch with me and have had no issues. I’m thinking that the blue tooth is being interrupted. I’ve had no problems since as long as I don’t go too far away from the device.

I had the same problem, tried everything mentioned. I Hit my wonderboom a few times and suddenly when turn play it worked!

Mine has also been doing this when I play music from my phone onto my speaker. So when it stopped its like it connected to another device so I opened my laptop because that’s the only other device that I have connected to my speaker before and I started playing music off it and it came through my speaker and hasn’t stopped playing. So if you don’t want to play music off that device maybe go to settings and press forget this device.

My Boom 3 speaker would turn off immediately (1-2 seconds after turning on) despite being fully charged. It was paired with my computer (which I didn’t need it for) and my phone. I unpaired it from my computer and now the problem seems to be fixed.
