I just changed lightening port on my iPhone 6, now speaker not working. When people call phone no ringing sound. I can hear them but then can’t hear me. Can’t play music etc. What did I mess up?
First what was wrong with your charging port to start with? Try the following open the phone back up and make sure the speaker mic is seated correctly against the frame of the phone, you will see on the speaker there is a small hole that has to line up with the frame of the phone see the picture for the speaker location.
test the phone to see if it’s working. If not try the old lighten cable, you don’t have to install it just lay it on the side of the phone and connect the old charging port to the motherboard then test the phone again. If it works you may have a defective charging port.
