Sound Works And Can Be Adjusted But There Is No Picture Television

I have a Hitachi LE39A309 the sound works and can be adjusted up and down but there is no picture. We tested the sound using the HDMI and hooked it up to a console. We pulled it apart and cannot see any loose cables or obvious damage. Money is a bit tight and we would really only like to buy one part if possible. If you had to make an informed decision, would it be the main board, or the LED strips?

@kkz shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen with the TV on and sound playing. If you can make out silhouettes and shapes you know it’s the backlight. Test for power on the LED backlight connectors to see if the main board tells the power board to switch it on. If you can post some images with your question so we can see the boards as well.
