After changing my iPhone 8 battery, i have a very loud screeching sound when i press the home button - and some other buttons. and whwen someone calls me. but i can hear the conversation normally, and the other person on the other phone can also hear me normally. the squeeking sound doesn’t go away when i put the phone on silent, any idea how to fix this?
Sounds like the screws for the vibrator motor came loose check it out and just tighten them up its right below the battery.
Sounds like the haptic engine that is responsible for vibrations is not fully screwed down causing it to rattle around more than it is supposed to
