Every once in awhile I have no sound when I turn my tv on. It will come back on it’s own eventually.
Is there something I can do to bring it back or just have to wait?
I’ve tried turning it off and on repeatedly but that doesn’t seem to work.
kathiemacdonnell always make sure that this is really caused by your TV. It can be caused by your cable top box, sat receiver etc., so check on that first. Once you are 100% sure that this is a TV error, start by attaching either a soundbar or external speaker and see (listen) if the sound cuts out as well. If so it is most likely a audio IC issue on the main board. Again further troubleshooting, resetting the cable box (whatever you may use) and resetting your TV is the way to go. Further issue could be old firmware. We definitely will need to know what exact model your Philips is and what you have tried to fix this.
