Video out audio ok I have a Sony KDL 46HX800 the audio is ok but no video. Thanks for taking interest in helping solve my issue. I’ve tried all kinds of stuff. Like all the inputs local tv antena they all have the same result audio works fine but no video. The picture is not completely black it’s kind of dark almost black purple. When I switch inputs it does not changes to black as it suppose to. The is backlights as you can see in images. I opened the tv vacuumed all the boards and tv itself. I didn’t noticed any bad components on the boards or tv itself. I get normal green light when on and red when off. No codes or anything in particular.. I found mainboard and tcon cards for 40HX800 Sony Tv in ebay i know it is not same TV but when comparing it is perfectly the same boards, the seller will sell them for 150 euro. @caragos if your TV only shows the backlight and no on-screen menu etc., it is most likely an issue with the main board first and not the t-con board which could be it, but not a first choice. Follow this flowchart to see what you get
The replacement boards could be identical but you need to make sure that the numbers that identify each board are identical, including any version updates etc.
