I have sony DAV-TZ150 NO POWER AFTER THUNDER STORM
Hi, Have you checked that the wall power outlet that the receiver is connected to is working OK, by plugging in another appliance e.g. hair dryer etc, you didn’t say? If so, here’s an image showing the No power troubleshooting flowchart from the service manual, that may help. First thing is to check if the fuse on the power board is OK. If the fuse is blown it is a T3.16A 250V fuse. The “T” is important as this indicates that it is a slow blow fuse. If you replace the fuse with a standard fuse i.e. 3.16A 250V it will blow straight away due to the high inrush current flow, whereas a slow blow fuse won’t. if the fuse is OK then follow the flowchart to try and find out where the problem lies.
