Chosen Solution
When I download songs I save them to my “music folder” in the “my computer” folder on the task bar. After I download the song I like to search for the artist in the search bar so I don’t have to scroll down a thousand songs looking for it. So in the search bar in “my computer” of the music folder I type in the artist and it does not show the recent songs I added, just the older ones I added. When I type the name of the recent song I added of that artist in the search bar it says “no items match your search,” but when I scroll down the song is there. I want to fix this. I have windows 8.1
Perhaps Windows is not properly indexing the folder Open your control panel.Search for “Indexing Options”.Click Modify.Select the folder that you are having the issue with.
