I was getting this message too whenever my iPhone restarts. Even though iMessage on my iPhone was working as expected as I was able to send and receive iMessages. How can I turn this notification off? Who can help me? Thanks a lot!
Just press cancel when it shows and it won’t send the international sms to activate imessage with your phone number and it won’t show until you restart. On the contrary, if you press ok the sms will be sent without you noticing anything except for the charge from your carrier. Mine charges 30c of an € each time..very upsetting. Wonder why apple still got this crazy procedure in place :(
