hey,um….. can someone help i have 2011 15 inch mbp and do i need a t6x40 or 50?
Here’s a link to the IFIXIT guides for your system: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Early 2011 within them you’ll find a tool listing on whats required for the different tasks. As the focus here was on replacing the hard drive you’ll need a T6 driver to remove the drive frame. But you’ll also need Phillips #00 driver to take the cover off and lastly you’ll need a non-metallic tool to disconnect the power connection Spudger
