After a screen replacement my phone got dropped and won’t turn on and the area directly around the power button gets hot.

The red is the overheating component. When I have the green connector detached it doesn’t overheat or respond. My computer does not register the phone’s existence unless the battery cable is connected.

You can try a program called 3uTools but iTunes needs to be installed on the PC. If your computer is registering that the phone is connected it is likely iTunes is not recognising it because of the USB restrictions. You will need to input your passcode before it will register with iTunes or 3uTools. If your PC is telling you it is connected you will need to rule out a faulty screen and battery. If it is not the screen or battery you need to rule out other parts that could be causing the problem which is why I suggested disconnecting all the flexes except for the ones I told you to leave connected. The charge port connector is the long one beside the battery connector. Once you have ruled out parts you will need to take readings of certain circuits with a multimeter as it will be a board problem but there is a good chance it is just a faulty screen.
