So my Xbox one randomly stopped grabbing disc I opened the disc drive and there was a quarter in it so I bought a new disc drive grab the motherboard and connected everything to the new disc drive and it’s still doing the same issue it won’t grab the disc yes a solder the older board to the new disc drive
You need to transfer the daughterboard of the old disc drive to the new disc drive. They are uniquely paired with the Xbox One Original’s logic board. This will require soldering as the disc feed motor’s positive and negative cables are soldered to the daughterboard.
