My Xbox One Controller will only work if it’s plugged into a power source. It doesn’t matter how many times I change the batteries it won’t turn on it unless it is plugged into the Xbox. Wanted to know if there was a fix for it or if it is something that I am just going to have to deal with.
If you continue having issues turning on your Xbox One Wireless Controller, check out this Xbox One Wireless Controller Won’t Turn On Problem Page. Disassemble it and reassemble it to better secure connections using this guide: Xbox One Wireless Controller Top Motherboard Replacement If that doesn’t fix it, than replacing the top motherboard should. Make sure your batteries are both putting out at least 1.5v. Hope this helps!
