I plugged a 19v psu into the 12v socket on accident and now the speakers don’t work. Upon closer inspection, I have noticed that a component on the board blew up, though I have no idea what it is. Help would be appreciated.

Mark Zuckerburg  that is an inductor (possibly used for a EMI filter with the capacitors next to it). Problem now will be to find one that’ll work. Inductors can sometime be bridged but since you blew it up once I’d get some run of a mill inductor and replace it. Get a few with different values just to see if it will last and work without blowing up again. I’d use something from 200 μH Common Mode Choke (inductor) to a 13 mH Common Mode Choke (inductor) for an EMI filter circuit. you will need to measure the physical length and width of the destroyed one to figure out which package you are looking for.
