Hi, I’m installing a transparent back plate to my Note8. There’s a plastic black thing lightly glued onto the top of the battery, it’s kinda scratched up so I want to put a sticker on top of it to make it look nice before I install it. Any cool suggestions on what I could put behind there, if not a sticker? Would a sticker even work? I fear that the heat will make it come off with time.
Hi @monist , Just don’t put on anything with metal in it as the “black thing” is the NFC antenna and the wireless charging coil. You don’t want to interfere with the signal reception for the NFC feature or the wireless charging. If you use wireless charging it may get a bit warmer (marginally) as well See Step.10 in the Samsung Galaxy Note8 Battery Replacement guide.
