my friend has a ibook and one day he plugged in the charger then it maid a loud pop sound and wouldnt turn on he said the he even changed the battery but it still will not tur on
You’ve probably burned out the DC-IN port. I wouldn’t trust the charger either. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number so we can determine which machine you have and can get you to the correct part and installation guides. The number is usually located in the battery compartment.
